I do admit that upon seeing the card above for Scott's Emulsion I was for a moment tempted to rename this blog, before Wikipedia informed me that an emulsion consists of two or more liquids, and I cannot for the life of me recall a single post here* whose drafting, at any given moment, involved more than one.

*With the telling exceptions, of course, of those to do with the frozen heads of fish, an order of fauna for whom emulsion is something of a byproductword.
